Happy Wednesday everyone,

Leaders are DEFINITELY readers…. In order to become a leader you must put the time in by learning and implementing. One of the keys to becoming who you want to be (leader, multi milionaire, etc…) you must learn and take action then again learn and take action.

If you come over a very successful persons house chances are they have a HUGE library… I know some of you are no longer readers after high school, like myself (because of all the boring books I WAS FORCED TO read) but I knew that for me to get to where I wanted to be I had to do something different than what everyone else was doing. Everyone was just watching TV and not even reading a book… I started getting into personal development and I was immediately hooked and read anything I can get my hands on. Had I found all these books during high school man I would have definately been a reader.

But some of you really have a hard time reading well nowadays you don’t have an excuses anymore.. they now have audio books of almost ANY book, so really what your excuse now??? After years of reading ALOT of books there are a few books that I feel are MUST reads. This is MY list not “THE LIST” so if you disagree let me know on the comments so I can add it to my library or my list

My top five

1. Psycho-cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz

Good read.. It was first made during the 1960s. A lot of the books written today reference this book. Good info about self-image.

2. Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill

No need to explain this book. The read is a little hard because of the early 1900s writing style. So read slowly to let it sink it.

3. The secrets of the millionaire mind by T Harv Eker

This was the FIRST book I read that opened up my mind. Before this book I knew I always wanted more but I had no direction but this book opened up my eyes.

4. How to win friends and influence people by Dale Carnegie

Another book that you should have already read. Talks about how to be a likeable person that people are atomically drawn to

5. Rich dad poor dad by Robert Kiyosaki

Another great eye opening book. Many people start with this book but this was probably my third or fourth book I read when i got into Personal development.

Remember this list is just MY LIST of the five books that I feel have changed my life. What are the top books that I haven’t listed here??? Comment below or Retweet this so share your fav or my favs thanks

to yOUR success,

How to master anything quickly?

Do you sometimes feel like you’re a slow learner? Do you feel like after you’ve read a book that you still didn’t get much from it, or it just went from one end and out the other? Are you getting those self help books but still aren’t getting anything out [...]

How to master anything quickly?

Do you sometimes feel like you’re a slow learner? Do you feel like after you’ve read a book that you still didn’t get much from it, or it just went from one end and out the other? Are you getting those self help books but still aren’t getting anything out of it? This was me years ago until I learned what I’m about to teach you on how to master basically anything quickly and easily.

The quickest way to answer how to master anything quickly is something called spaced repetition. Spaced repetition is listening or doing something over a period of time until it is ingrained in your mind. A perfect example of when you could use spaced repetition would be when you get a brand self help audio. Normally you would listen to each track once, do the exercises then move on. Maybe once of twice review your notes or listen to a track a couple more times. But to get a lot more out of the audio program you would listen to each track a bunch of times in a short period of time. You would then move on to the next track and do the same thing.

Think of it like when you hear a brand new hit song on the radio. When you first hear it you don’t know the words but after a couple weeks of always hearing THAT same song on the radio over and over again you learn the words without even knowing it. That’s spaced repetition working on you! You don’t have to necessarily like it but since you’ve heard it so many times it gets ingrained in your head almost like a habit.

You can use spaced repetition with anything like audio, books, flash cards etc… But audio is by far the most effective in my opinion. With audio you don’t need alone time to do it. You can listen to an audio anytime and even if you’re doing something, even something like SLEEP. With a book you have to use alone time with it, you can’t read and vacuum at the same time but with audio you can. Using audio you can listen in your car, at the gym anywhere you please.

Then you wonder how many times do I have to listen to something for it to get ingrained? Well generally speaking listen to something 21 times over a span of 30 days will help. It will eventually turn into a habit. Or if it’s broken down into multiple tracks I would listen to a certain track at least 7 times before I move to the next track.

If you do this on anything you’re trying to learn I promise you, you will get A LOT more out of it. You will learn a lot faster then going through something once or twice and expecting to take action with it right away. I do this for everything I do now and it’s helped me master anything quickly.

Welcome back to another motivational monday to start off your week. This video is from the movie any given sunday with the speech from Al Pacino in the locker room. He talks about how life is a game of inches. You have to be willing to fight for every single inch, every single advantage that you can take. Like the slight edge the margin for error between winning and losing is so small so you MUST take every opportunity to the fullest. So with everything you do despite it not making a difference at that moment, know that it will all add up over time. Know that every inch stacked up together will take you to that goal. For example if you’re goal was to lose weight and you are going to work out 5 times a week. You may not see any weight loss in the first couple weeks but if you do it consistently inch by inch every single time you will see a big difference over time. IF you stick to that discipline you will lose weight over someone so did stick to that discipline.

Anyway here is the video enjoy

Do you ever find yourself saying.. “Man! I wish I was still back in school! Or “ Man! I wish I was a kid again!” If you’re like me, I have said those same words many times in my adult life. At first, I used to say this because I missed the fun times during those years, then as I thought about it further, and the reason why I said those words is because I missed the optimistic person I was at the time. The feeling that after school I will be this, I will achieve this, I will have this! At a young age we already develop goals, dreams and ambitions, whether it may be being a fireman, an astronaut, the first female president, whatever it may be when we were young most of us are optimistic that we can achieve this.

But what happens when we get older, why do we suddenly feel that we cant achieve our goals? Why do we suddenly feel we can’t achieve success? As I was researching for my post today, a writer says we are pre conditioned as we get older to believe we cannot achieve our dreams. I don’t believe that. How I see it, there are situations that happen in our lives that sway us, from that optimism that we once had as a youth, and once this has happened we go to suddenly are on a different path and we give up on our dreams, ambitions, goals in life.

Brian Tracy says “ It doesn’t matter where you are coming from. All that matters is where you are going.”

It really doesn’t matter where you’re coming from. You may not be where you thought you would be in life, what does matter is that you are doing something to get yourself to where you want to be again. Personal development and self improvement is key to removing those negative mental, and negative emotional aspects that have built up within you. If you can just take away one negative aspect you’re on the right track, but if you can continually block or take away negative aspects in your life you are directing yourself back on the track you once were on. This is not an easy task and may be a long journey. “ Trust me! I am still on my journey.” As long as you have that WANT deep inside yourself to change your current situation, and you have a good reason WHY you want to change your situation, then you’re on the right track.

I am not a Personal development guru, far from it. I am like you, still on that journey, and if you’re not on that journey back to your goals, dreams, and ambitions, Join me! Lets do this together, and not say “Man I wish I was back in school!” But lets say “Man, I love where I’m at right now and it can only get better!”

In this clip is Will Smith talking about how you have to DECIDE what your outcomes are going to be. One of the quotes he says is “2+2=4 because I chose it to be 4″ Another part of the movie he talks about how you have to be willing to work hard. Decision alone won’t get you to where you wanna go but you MUST take action. He uses the analogy of being on a treadmill and how there’s only two options for him on that treadmill – either he dies or you get off the treadmill first.

So you must first DECIDE what your outcome is going to be then you MUST TAKE ACTION and be WILLING TO WORK HARD NO MATTER WHAT!!!

Make your Bed

How many people can honestly say they make their bed up every morning? “Come on now! put down your hand, you know you don’t!” ” just kidding!” You never know how sometimes the small chores in life, can create an impact on your mindset throughout the day. I learned this small trick from an old sales manager of mine, I few years back I was in a bit rough patch in terms of my sales goals. I felt out of it, a little burned out and just not focused. He pulled me in asked what was going on, just to see how I was doing and asked me the same question I just posed to all of you. I thought he was kind of crazy but, I was willing to give it a shot.

So if you feel like you’re in a rut, have lost some sizzle, try this small exercise. I guarantee results, at the very least your significant other will appreciate the gesture!

I don’t know about you but I enjoy my sleep, and one of the benefits of making your bed in the morning is it creates a sense organization for the start of your day. While you’re driving to work you already have a good feeling that this might be a good day, just by making your bed.It also brings a sense of accomplishment to your day. If your day has not gone the way you would have wanted, and you haven’t closed on some of the deals you would have liked, wouldn’t it be nice to come home to a perfectly made bed that just looks so inviting that your bad day just goes away?

All this takes is five minutes to 10 minutes a day,and just try it for at least a week. This definitely works! Have a great Hump day everyone!
